Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: April 22, 2026
We believe in transparency. cadtoinr.ca is an independent comparison site for sending money from Canada to India. To keep the Service free for everyone, we participate in affiliate and referral programs operated by certain Third-Party Providers. This page explains how we earn money, what it means for you, and how it does — and does not — affect what you see on the Service.
1. How We Earn Revenue
When you click certain links on cadtoinr.ca and subsequently sign up for, fund, or transact with a Third-Party Provider, we may receive a referral fee or commission from that provider or its affiliate network. We currently participate in affiliate or referral programs with the following providers:
- Wise
- Remitly
- Remitbee
Other providers shown on the Service — including (without limitation) Western Union, Xoom, RBC, BMO, TD, Scotiabank, CIBC, and other banks — are displayed for comparison purposes only. We do not currently earn a commission from those providers. Their inclusion is based on their relevance to Canadian senders, public availability of rate data, and user demand.
2. No Cost to You
Using our affiliate links costs you nothing extra. You pay the same exchange rate, fees, and total amount whether you reach a provider through cadtoinr.ca or by going directly to the provider's own website. Affiliate commissions are paid by the provider out of their marketing budget — never by you.
3. Editorial Independence
Our rate comparison rankings are determined by the live data we collect from each provider (such as the rate, fees, recipient amount, and delivery speed) — not by whether or how much we are paid. We do not artificially elevate a partner over a non-partner in our comparison tables when the data does not support it.
We may, however, give partners more prominent placement outside the live rate table (for example, in feature cards, the homepage hero, “Editor's Pick” badges, or dedicated landing pages) where we believe the partner offers a competitive product to the Canadian-to-India remittance market. Where a piece of content is materially shaped by an affiliate relationship, we will say so.
4. Cookies and Attribution
When you click an outbound affiliate link, the Third-Party Provider or its affiliate network may set a cookie or use other tracking technologies to attribute your sign-up or transaction to cadtoinr.ca. Please review the relevant provider's privacy policy for details on how they use such information. See our Privacy Policy for our own practices.
5. Not Financial Advice
Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Always do your own research, verify rates and fees directly with the provider before transacting, and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. See Sections 2 and 3 of our Terms and Conditions for the full disclaimer.
6. Trademarks
All product names, logos, brands, and trademarks displayed on the Service are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names, logos, and brands is for identification and comparison purposes only and does not imply endorsement.
7. Compliance
This disclosure is intended to comply with applicable transparency and consumer protection requirements, including the Competition Bureau of Canada's guidance on influencer and affiliate marketing, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (where applicable), and similar guidance in the EU and UK.
